Where Is the Wisp in Steal An Egg?
The Wisp is a small glowing spirit NPC that appeared with the Enchanted Forest biome in Update 7 (October 3, 2026). It starts the Grow Your Wisp questline, and completing that questline is currently the only known way to unseal the Enchanted Tree.
- Reach the Enchanted Forest biome — the current reports put the gate at 50B Speed (see below).
- Stay near the start of the biome, next to the board that shows the recommended Speed.
- Look for a small floating spirit standing on a marked circle — that is the Wisp.
- Walk up to it and interact to start Grow Your Wisp.
Note: reports currently differ on the exact position — most place the Wisp at the biome entrance, while some players describe it on the right side of the biome, nearer the Enchanted Tree. If you do not see it right away, sweep both spots.
Steal An Egg Wisp Location
The Enchanted Forest is laid out roughly like this as you walk in from the previous biome:
Simplified layout based on player reports — the Wisp sits between the entrance and the sealed tree.
If you have entered the biome but see nothing at either spot, other players in your server may have already triggered quest interactions, or your client simply has not streamed the NPC yet. A quick rejoin fixes most cases — the full checklist lives in Wisp Not Spawning.
What Speed Do You Need for the Wisp?
The Enchanted Forest sits at the top of the biome ladder, and you cannot enter — or reach the Wisp — until your Speed clears its gate. Current reported ladder:
| Biome | Reported Speed gate | Update |
|---|---|---|
| Cherry Blossom | ~2.5B | Earlier update |
| Titan Temple | ~7B | Earlier update |
| Angels & Demons | ~20B | Earlier update |
| Enchanted Forest | ~50B | Update 7 |
Every recently updated guide puts the Enchanted Forest gate above the 20B Angels & Demons gate, with 50B the number that keeps repeating. Earlier posts that cited lower figures predate the live update. Treat 50B as the safe target until an in-game check pins the exact number.
Why Can't I See the Wisp?
Three causes cover almost every report: you are not actually inside the Enchanted Forest yet (the gate is strict), you are standing in the wrong part of the biome, or your server has not synced the NPC. Confirm your Speed, sweep the entrance and the tree side, then rejoin. Step-by-step fixes: Wisp not spawning? Requirements & fixes.
All Steal An Egg Wisp Quests
Interacting with the Wisp opens the Grow Your Wisp tracker. The Wisp grows through four stages: you start at Stage 1 and each quest advances it one stage, finishing at Stage 4 when you return it. The three quests:
- Quest 1 — steal Enchanted Forest eggs (reported targets differ — see below)
- Quest 2 — complete a fusion that uses an Enchanted Forest pet
- Quest 3 — steal any Eternal egg
Full step-by-step walkthrough with a checklist: Steal An Egg Wisp Quests.
Wisp Quest 1
Objective: steal eggs from the Enchanted Forest itself. Rarity and weight do not matter — the counter tracks any egg taken from the new biome.
Wisp Quest 2
Objective: complete a fusion that includes an Enchanted Forest pet. Community reports say any fusion using one of the new biome pets counts — for example fusing several of the same new pet.
Wisp Quest 3
Objective: steal any Eternal egg. This one is consistent across sources: the egg can come from any biome, so grab whichever Eternal egg is easiest for you to reach.
How to Return the Wisp
- Finish Quest 3 and confirm the tracker shows the questline complete.
- Interact with the Wisp one more time — it should be ready to move.
- Bring it to the sealed Enchanted Tree in the same biome.
- Interact at the tree. The seal lifts and the entrance changes to Enter Enchanted Tree.
After returning the Wisp you keep progressing inside the tree — see below and the Enchanted Tree guide.
How to Unlock the Enchanted Tree
The Enchanted Tree is locked until the Grow Your Wisp questline is finished and the Wisp has been returned. Inside you pick up the free Butterfly Net, catch butterflies during Butterfly Bloom events, trade them at the altar for Enchanted Essence, and can push on to the hidden secret room behind the tree (home of the Jitterbug and its Mushroom Puzzle).

Wisp Not Spawning Troubleshooting
- Confirm you are inside the Enchanted Forest — not at the boundary of the previous biome.
- Check your Speed against the ~50B gate; below it the biome stays out of reach.
- Sweep both reported spawn spots: entrance/speed board and the tree side.
- Rejoin the server to force the NPC to stream in.
- Try a different server if the Wisp still does not appear.
- If the tracker is stuck mid-questline, re-interact with the Wisp before assuming a bug.
- Still nothing? Compare against the latest verified requirements on this page after the next update.

Conflicting Reports
Update 7 went live on October 3, 2026, and public sources still disagree on a few numbers. Where reports differ, this guide says so instead of picking one at random:
- Quest 1 egg target: 10 vs 20 Enchanted Forest eggs.
- Quest 2: one fusion with an Enchanted Forest pet vs a much larger fused-animal count.
- Exact Enchanted Forest Speed gate (50B is the safe target).
- Butterfly Bloom timing — see the Butterfly Bloom guide.
The in-game quest tracker always overrides any published number.
